Senior Project Manager
Senior Project Manager to become part of a dynamic team supporting the United States Army Corps of Engineers. Tasks include management of multiple contracts, tasks, and teams to facilitate risk review and mitigation cycles, customer communications, schedule development and adherence, and senior-level briefings. This position will work closely with government on this engagement and provide expert consultative services designed to help USACE execute and optimize their business processes. The work location for this position is in the DC, Maryland, or Virginia area (National Capital Region).
Responsibilities
- Development and maintenance of program tracking tools using tools such as Jira and Smartsheet
- Facilitation of project briefings and status meetings
- Project strategy and roadmap development based on team capacity and operational constraints
- Tailoring and documentation of IT systems delivery methodology best suited to deliver modernization efforts
- Documentation of system transitions and cutover plans supporting sunset of legacy system and go-live of modern replacement
- Prepare quality presentations on short-notice for executive presentation
- Maintain a comprehensive accounting of measures of effectiveness on schedule and delivery progress
- Design and recommend performance tracking metrics
- Prepare supporting documents, flow-charts, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations
- Maintain Active Security Clearance
Job Requirements
- 10-12 years of professional experience
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Management, Information Systems, or equivalent
- PMP or Agile certification
- Experience managing large-scale IT modernization efforts
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Ability to follow security protocols to protect sensitive data
- U.S. Citizen
- Active Security Clearance
- Experience supporting technical efforts for Department of War Civil Engineering organizations (such as AFCEC, USACE, NAVFAC) highly desired
Location: National Capital Region (NCR). Type: Full-time. Salary Range: $145k - $165k.
Pay: $145,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year

- IT OR Program Managment: 10 years (Required)
- Civil Engineering (AFCEC, USACE, NAVFAC): 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- SAFe OR PMP OR Agile (Required)
