SUMMARY OF POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITY
The Maintenance Technician at Square Cabinetry plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational integrity of machinery and equipment used in cabinet manufacturing processes. Your expertise in maintenance and troubleshooting contributes directly to the efficiency and success of Square Cabinetry's manufacturing operations.
Position will start on a split shift then move to 2nd shift.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Conduct routine maintenance on industrial machinery and facilities to ensure optimal functionality.

Identify and diagnose issues with industrial machinery and facilities, performing repairs and preventive maintenance as needed.

Collaborate with production staff and management to coordinate industrial maintenance activities and minimize downtime.

Perform facilities maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.

Maintain accurate records of industrial maintenance and facilities maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks.

Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and guidelines.

Solid understanding of industrial maintenance practices in a manufacturing environment.

Proficient problem-solving and decision-making abilities related to industrial machinery and facilities.

Attention to detail and organizational skills specific to industrial maintenance and facilities maintenance tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR TRAINING)
Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience:
-
Previous experience in industrial maintenance or a related role.

Familiarity with the maintenance of industrial machinery and facilities in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Experience:

Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

Experience with Lean or Six Sigma principles.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to:

Moving machinery and mechanical parts.

Wood dust, sawdust, and airborne particles.

Noise from manufacturing equipment.

Varying temperatures depending on the facility.

Electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
The employee is required to wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and hearing protection.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Standing and walking for extended periods throughout the workday.

Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching to access equipment and perform repairs.

Climbing ladders, stairs, and occasionally working from elevated platforms or lifts.

Using hands and fingers to handle tools, parts, and equipment requiring manual dexterity.

Pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting materials, tools, and equipment.
Lifting Requirements
