Job Title: Bilingual (Spanish) Customer Service Representative

Schedule: Full-time (some evening hours and work on Saturday)
Pay: $18.10 per hour
Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated bilingual Customer Service Representative to join our team and assist with critical data collection through telephone surveys. Success in this role means effectively communicating with clients and ensuring accurate data entry to support important public health initiatives.
Qualifications
- MUST be bilingual, both oral and written Spanish
- This position requires strong oral and written communication skills, including a solid grasp of grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Candidates must be able to communicate professionally with customers, ask clear questions, actively listen, and accurately document responses.
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a public contact environment (preferably in public health or healthcare)
- Minimum 1 year experience conducting telephone interviews or surveys
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Proficient in operating office equipment, including telephones and computers
Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct confidential telephone interviews using survey scripts according to specific guidelines and procedures.
- Review information obtained for completeness and accuracy.
- Accurately enter survey responses into a database.
- Follow study protocols diligently.
- Maintain confidentiality of all research materials and data.
- Identify and report problems in obtaining valid data.
- Establish contact with external customers as needed.
- Prepare surveillance mailings to support survey efforts.
