Summary
We’re hiring a Piano Instructor to teach at either or both of our Lexington locations (501 Darby Creek Rd. and 118 Dennis Dr.). This is a part-time employee role. We primarily serve children and we’re looking for someone who teaches with warmth, patience, and professionalism.
Preference will be given to instructors who can teach multiple instruments, but we’re also happy to consider applicants who specialize in just one (we also teach voice, ukulele, and guitar).
Required Availability (Evenings)
To meet our highest-demand lesson times, applicants must be available:
- 3:30 pm – 8:00 pm at least 2 weekdays (Mon–Fri)
- (Most popular times are typically 3:30–7:00 pm.)
Responsibilities
- Teach piano lessons to students ages 5+ (private and semi-private—max of 2 students)
- Use provided lesson resources and activities; instruments and lesson materials are provided
- Communicate clearly with families and the Wellness Creative team regarding student progress

- Lessons are currently in-office at our two Lexington locations
- Some virtual lessons may be needed

Qualifications
Required
- Experience teaching piano lessons or equivalent relevant experience
- Comfortable teaching children and working with a variety of learning styles
- Ability to work evening availability as listed
- Pass a background check
Preferred
- Experience with semi-private lessons (2 students)
