Prepare, assess, and educate patients before cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
Monitor cardiac rhythms, hemodynamic status, and patient response before, during, and after procedures.
Administer medications, IV therapies, and moderate sedation as appropriate.
Recognize and respond to cardiac emergencies and changes in patient condition.
Provide post-procedure monitoring, recovery care, and discharge education.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records.
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
Follow infection prevention, patient safety, HIPAA, and regulatory standards.
Participate in on-call rotation as required by the facility.
Perform other duties as assigned.
