Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and other mechanical systems with precision and attention to detail.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive service tools to complete repairs efficiently.
- Execute vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake replacements, alignment adjustments, and tire rotations to ensure safety and performance.
- Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) data to troubleshoot complex electronic systems.
- Collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate auto estimating and communicate repair progress effectively to customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during all repair procedures.
Requirements
- Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair.
- Solid mechanical knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engines.
- Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, vehicle alignment procedures, and schematics interpretation.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive maintenance machinery.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Valid mechanic license or certification preferred; relevant certifications such as ASE are a plus.
