American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU position at a major academic medical center in Cleveland, OH, requiring at least 18 months of CVICU experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Position is in the Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) of a large hospital setting
-
13-week contract with a rotating day/night schedule (3x12-hour shifts)

Day shift hours: 7:00am–7:30pm; Night shift hours: 7:00pm–7:30am

Shifts may rotate based on operational needs of the unit

Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required

Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in CVICU required (travel experience will also be considered)

Must be able to achieve acceptable scores on an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment administered during orientation

Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are administered during orientation and must be passed to continue in the role

Must be available to work at least every other holiday

Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic location; a minimum 6-month gap is required before beginning a new assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
