We are seeking to hire a Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our veterinary hospital. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth functioning of the practice, maintaining high standards of customer and patient care, and fostering a collaborative team environment. The Practice Manager will be responsible for managing staff, operations, social media, growth initiatives and client relations, all while supporting the clinic’s mission to provide exceptional veterinary services. Experience as a Veterinary Practice Manager is preferred, but not required. Pay will be based on the applicant's individual skill set and prior experience.
Duties and Skills
- Oversee daily clinic operations, focusing on customer and patient care
- Lead with high standards of integrity, clinic safety and quality assurance
- Supervise administrative staff and veterinary technicians
- Support medical administrative functions, including daily inbound/outbound phone calls and maintenance/auditing of medical records
- Oversee human resources functions such as payroll, hiring, paid time off tracking, training and weekly team meetings
- Work with external vendors to maintain all systems, including veterinary database, phones, internet, alarm, etc
- Front office management of supplies and systems
- Provide daily, weekly and monthly performance management tracking
