Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate <PERSON> to join our team as a Behavioral Specialist. In this vital role, you will provide expert behavioral intervention and support to children and individuals with neurodevelopmental and developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders. Your work will focus on implementing evidence-based strategies, conducting comprehensive assessments, and collaborating with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to promote meaningful progress. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on comprehensive assessments such as Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and diagnostic evaluations
- Conduct behavioral psychological assessments and functional assessments to identify triggers, functions of behavior, and appropriate intervention strategies
- Deliver Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy tailored to each client’s needs, focusing on skill acquisition and reducing challenging behaviors
- Collect, analyze, and document data related to client progress, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency across settings such as home, school, and community environments
- Provide training and supervision for clinical staff or behavior technicians in behavioral health techniques and intervention implementation
- Perform patient assessments, conduct intake evaluations, and support diagnostic processes for children with autism or other neurodevelopmental disorders
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of services provided in accordance with healthcare regulations
- Support clients through behavioral health interventions designed for children with disabilities, including those with developmental delays or neurodevelopmental disorders
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in clinical or educational settings, especially those with disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders
- Hands-on experience in data collection, behavior intervention strategies, and applied behavioral analysis (ABA) techniques for children
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health and developmental disabilities
- Experience conducting functional behavior assessments (FBA), functional analyses, and behavioral psychological assessments
- Background working within home-based behavioral programs or school environments preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations governing patient privacy and medical records management
- Prior experience providing autism spectrum disorder support or working directly with children on the autism spectrum is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients’ families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare providers
- Clinical supervision experience or training in behavior analysis is a plus

Pay: $62,389.04 - $100,000.00 per year
