■ General Responsibilities
About the Role
Lead business development and revenue growth within the assigned territory by developing sales pipelines, managing key accounts and channel partners, and delivering collaborative robot and intelligent robotic solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute the regional collaborative robot sales strategy to achieve revenue targets.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline from prospecting through deal closure.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with distributors, system integrators (SIs), OEMs, and end users.
- Drive solution-based selling through cobot demonstrations and collaboration with engineering teams.
- Manage sales forecasting, performance reporting, and pipeline visibility.
■ Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience in robotics or industrial automation; hands-on cobot sales experience preferred.
- Experience in solution-based selling of collaborative robots or industrial robotic systems.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Existing network among system integrators, OEMs, distributors, or manufacturing customers.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
- Willingness to travel 30–50%.
■ Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Candidate Backgrounds (in priority order)
- Robotics / Cobot Companies: Doosan Robotics, Dobot, FANUC, Universal Robots, Techman; zero-to-one and advanced cobot sales experience strongly preferred.
- Industrial Robotics: FANUC, Yaskawa, ABB, Omron, Mitsubishi, Nachi, DENSO, etc.
- System Integrators / Distributors: ONExia, JLS, and similar automation solution providers.
- Adjacent industries serving manufacturing customers.
- Factory Automation: Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider, etc.
- Machine Tools: Mazak, Okuma, Haas, etc.
■ Compensation
- Base Salary: $130,000+/year, negotiable based on qualifications and capabilities
- Commission: 3% of directly generated net sales revenue, excluding discounts, sales tax, and shipping
- Car Allowance: $700/month
- Overtime: Not applicable (Exempt Position)
■ Work Arrangement / Territory
- Territories: Midwest (Chicago-based), Georgia and surrounding areas, Texas and surrounding areas
- Midwest: Hybrid preferred (1–2 office days/week if within commuting distance)
- Remote work may be considered with periodic office visits
- Travel: 30–50%
