Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote infant development across physical, cognitive, social, and emotional domains
- Provide attentive supervision and care to infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Engage with children through interactive activities that support early childhood development and exploration
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to respond effectively to emergencies
- Collaborate with team members to plan activities that support inclusive education for children with special needs or disabilities
Requirements
- Prior experience working with infants or in a daycare or preschool setting is highly preferred
- Knowledge of child development instruction and early childhood education principles
- Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid, is required or willing to obtain upon hire
- Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and abuse prevention
- Strong classroom management skills combined with patience and compassion for young children
- Ability to communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and children from diverse backgrounds
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to supervise children safely while fostering independence and positive behavior management

Pay: $22.53 - $27.14 per hour
