Gregg Young Columbus is searching for an Express Service Technician to join our team TEAM at our Toyota dealership.
Starting with our first dealership over 26 years ago and expanding to 12 dealerships spread throughout NE, IA, and WI, we aim to continue growing our business while simultaneously growing our people and their career paths all while holding true to our 4 Core Values: Ambition, Integrity, Execution, and Serves Others.
Express Service Technician Employment Package:
- previous dealership or automotive repair facility experience preferred, but not required
- automotive mechanical knowledge required
- education, certification, and advancement opportunities supported by the dealership - dealer funded continued manufacturer technician training
- career path acceleration: Express Service Technician >> Technician >> Shop Foreman >> Service Manager >> Fixed Operations Director
- Monday - Friday 7:30am-5:30pm & rotating Saturdays 7:30am - noon
- $34,000 - $45,000/year - experience dependent
Requirements:
- specializing in express vehicle maintenances: oil changes, tires including, rotations/mounting/balancing/stemming
- establish working relationships with the Service Advisors and Service Manager while working independently as rapidly as possible to service the concern and get on to the next job
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
- document all work performed and abide by the trained protocols & procedures
- additional assistance where needed in shop upkeep, shop supplies, and shop cleanliness
