We are a fast‑growing Managed Service Provider focused on delivering secure, automated, and reliable IT services. We have been serving the SW Florida region since 2005. Our technology stack centers around Autotask, Datto RMM, IT Glue, and Kaseya 365 User Management—but we welcome candidates with equivalent PSA/RMM experience such as ConnectWise, NinjaOne, Atera, Syncro, or Kaseya VSA.
We're seeking a proactive, skilled MSP Systems Engineer who can provide both remote and on-site support while maintaining high standards of automation, documentation, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and optimize Datto RMM, including monitoring, patching, scripting, and policy creation.
- Work daily in Autotask to manage tickets, SLAs, project tasks, and workflows.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation in IT Glue, including SOPs, diagrams, credentials, and asset details.
- Manage Microsoft 365 user lifecycle tasks including:
- User provisioning & deprovisioning
- License assignment
- MFA/security policy setup
- Usage reporting & compliance audits
- Provide on‑site IT support for client locations, including:
- Desktop, laptop, and hardware troubleshooting
- Server and network device installation or maintenance
- Hands‑on remediation for escalated issues
- Client interaction and relationship management
- Deploy agents, configure policies, and assist in onboarding new clients into the MSP ecosystem.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2/Tier 2.5 technical issues (servers, endpoints, cloud services, networking).
- Follow MSP best practices for security, patching, backup monitoring, automation, and proactive maintenance.
Required Skills & Experience
- At least 1 year of experience working for a Managed Service Provider or IT Services firm.
- Experience with:
- Autotask PSA or equivalent PSA (ConnectWise, Halo, Syncro, etc.)
- Datto RMM or equivalent RMM (NinjaOne, Atera, Syncro, ConnectWise Automate, Kaseya VSA, etc.)
- IT Glue or equivalent documentation platforms
- Microsoft 365 administration
- Hands-on experience providing on‑site support for customers.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows Server, Active Directory, and desktop OS environments.
- Familiarity with firewalls, switches, VLANs, VPNs, and general network diagnosis.
- PowerShell scripting experience preferred.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced MSP environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Datto RMM certifications or related MSP tool certifications.
- Experience with Datto BCDR or similar backup platforms.
- Experience with Azure AD/Entra ID and modern cloud services.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance frameworks.
