Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Job Summary:

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in our interdisciplinary team, working closely with occupational therapists to design and implement patient-centered interventions. Responsibilities:
Assist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients with various physical, cognitive, and emotional disabilities
Conduct occupational therapy sessions, including but not limited to, activities of daily living, mobility, and cognitive skills training
Utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches, including but not limited to, adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and environmental modifications
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with agency policies and regulations
Participate in treatment team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop new treatment plans

Requirements:
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in occupational therapy or related field preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift, transfer, and support patients as needed
