Job Summary

Duties
- Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, creating a lively and inviting atmosphere from arrival to departure
- Coordinate event activities, including registration, guest seating, and program flow, ensuring timely execution
- Manage vendor relationships, including catering, entertainment, and equipment rentals, negotiating contracts when necessary
- Upsell event packages or services to enhance guest experiences while maintaining a positive rapport
- Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring all logistics align with planned layouts and safety standards
- Address guest inquiries promptly, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues efficiently
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote upcoming events through social media, email campaigns, and other channels
- Monitor budgets for event supplies and services, ensuring cost-effective planning without compromising quality
Requirements
- Proven experience in event hosting, hospitality, restaurant service, or hotel operations with banquet experience preferred
- Strong negotiation skills for vendor contracts and upselling opportunities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of event marketing strategies and event planning processes
- Ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Familiarity with budgeting practices and contracts related to catering, venue rentals, and event services
- Experience in fundraising or guest services is a plus; hospitality background highly valued
