Unit Manager
Position Summary
THRYVE Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Unit Manager (RN) to oversee the clinical operations of a designated unit within a skilled nursing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality resident care, supporting nursing staff, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. The Unit Manager plays a key role in driving clinical outcomes, staff engagement, and overall unit performance.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily clinical operations of an assigned unit
Supervise, coach, and support nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
Ensure delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care
Monitor and improve clinical outcomes, including quality measures and survey readiness
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Conduct rounds and address resident and family concerns
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
Assist with staffing, scheduling, and performance management
Support infection control, safety, and compliance initiatives
Participate in audits, surveys, and quality improvement programs
Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
2+ years of nursing experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Knowledge of state and federal regulations for long-term care
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience as a Unit Manager or Nurse Supervisor
Experience with EMR systems in long-term care
Demonstrated success in improving clinical outcomes and survey performance
