Summary of Position: Safely and reliably transport and assist students to and from school. Must be available for both A.M. and P.M. runs. Opportunities for extra bus route runs such as: educational and sporting events, and/or other special or school-related activities, may be available.
Qualifications:
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Driver’s License required
- CDL with Class B, P, and S endorsements preferred; CDL training provided, if necessary
- Subject to Background Check, Drug Screen, and Department of Transportation physical
Essential Position Requirements:
- Regular, Reliable, and Punctual attendance
- Safely transport passengers
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Assist students in the loading and unloading process
- Monitor student behavior while in transit and remain alert to the welfare of passengers
- Attend meetings and conduct emergency drills as required by the Operations Director
- Ability to perform essential functions while adhering to district policies
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Transportation Director or Superintendent

Pay Rate: $50.00 per normal bus route run
