As a key part of our hospitality team, you'll ensure the halfway house operates smoothly, serving up refreshments, managing cleanliness, and delivering memorable service that keeps guests coming back.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, efficient service at the halfway house.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages following health and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the facility, including counters, tables, floors, and equipment through regular cleaning and floor care.
- Restock supplies such as snacks, drinks, utensils, and condiments to ensure availability throughout the day.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately and manage point-of-sale systems with integrity.
- Ensure the cleanliness of all areas by performing janitorial tasks including trash removal and surface sanitization.
- Follow safety protocols and assist in maintaining a safe environment for staff and guests.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older to comply with alcohol service regulations.
- Previous experience in hospitality, hotel service, or food & beverage is highly preferred.
- Experience with cleaning, floor care, or janitorial duties is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of custodial practices or industrial cleaning techniques is beneficial.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or cleaning equipment.
