Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License A Flatbed Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight across diverse routes with energy and precision! In this role, you’ll operate flatbed trucks equipped for transporting Pipe and Boxes and additional specialized equipment. Your expertise will ensure safe, timely deliveries while adhering to all federal and state regulations. Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with flatbed configurations across long-distance over-the-road (OTR) routes, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations
- Load, secure, and unload freight using manual handling techniques and equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary
- Navigate using GPS systems to optimize routes and meet delivery schedules efficiently
- Transport a variety of cargo
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with safety standards
- Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper handling of logistics cargo handling procedures for different types of freight like flatbeds or dump trucks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and compliance records in accordance with FMCSA
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, especially route driving with flatbed or tanker configurations
- Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently and handle manual loading/unloading processes
- Knowledge of truck loading and unloading procedures using forklifts or other equipment when applicable
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations, FMCSA standards, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for truck driving
- Excellent driving skills with experience in delivery driving and logistics cargo handling on tractor-trailers
- Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks required for load & unload activities in various weather conditions

Pay: $3,048.85 - $3,671.73 per week
