Overview
We are seeking motivated and customer-oriented Cashier/Sales Associates to join our retail team. We are in need of weekends, morning, and overnight shift associate. This role is essential in providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers while effectively managing transactions and promoting products. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately, processing customer transactions.
- Engage with customers to provide product information and assist with their shopping needs.
- Upsell products by recommending complementary items to enhance the customer experience.
- Maintain the sales floor by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to potential buyers.
- Supervise junior staff members during shifts, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist with stock management.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashier roles is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual candidates are a plus.
- Ability to perform basic retail math calculations accurately.
- Experience with cash registers and point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- A proactive approach to upselling and promoting products effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stock management.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Must be 19 years of age or older
