Warehouse Technician – Medical Equipment Assembly & Prep (Brooklyn)
Inventory Control
Keep all inventory organized, labeled, and easy to locate.
Report inventory levels to the Logistics Specialist.
Conduct a full weekly physical count with the Logistics Specialist.
Inspect all incoming inventory for damages, missing components, and accurate quantities.
Scan and forward all packing slips to the Logistics Specialist.
Organize all supplies by size, name, and type.
Maintain the front store fully stocked at all times.
Delivery Preparation
Build/assemble equipment as needed (POVs, concentrators, suction machines, pumps).
Prepare all drivers for delivery routes.
Pull and stage all items scheduled for delivery one day before.
Print delivery tickets and daily delivery schedules.
Double-check all items before they leave the warehouse.
Perform a final inspection for damage before handing items to drivers.
Ensure all equipment is clean, functional, and ready for patient use.
Repairs & Maintenance
Replace worn components (batteries, motors, wheels, etc.).
Repair damaged or malfunctioning equipment.
Clean and disinfect all returned equipment immediately upon arrival.
Tag every returned item with:
– Date returned
– Patient information
– “Inspected / Not Inspected” status
– Staff member responsible
Bag and store cleaned equipment so it is ready for redistribution.
Office & Facility Readiness
Maintain a clean and professional environment inside and outside the facility.
Empty garbage cans; remove boxes, pallets, and clutter.
Refill paper towels, water, and sanitizers.
Keep sidewalks and parking areas free of debris, snow, or ice.
Ensure the office is fully functional so staff can work without interruption.
Open the facility early and ensure it is work-ready each morning.
Team Coordination
Work closely with the Logistics Specialist and the Inventory/Purchasing Supervisor to maintain accurate records.
Perform emergency deliveries when drivers are unavailable.
Learn new processes and continuously improve workflow.
Have working knowledge of warehouse and production environments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $500.00 - $600.00 per week
