Duties
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service flow, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to maintain high performance levels and team morale.
- Supervise food handling, kitchen management, and food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Utilize POS systems for order processing, cash handling, and sales tracking.
- Control inventory levels through accurate stock management and ordering to minimize waste and optimize food costs.
- Lead shift management by coordinating front-of-house and kitchen teams to deliver quick service in a fast-food or casual dining setting.
- Maintain a welcoming environment by ensuring excellent customer service standards are consistently met or exceeded.
- Implement food production standards for catering, banquets, or special events when applicable.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service management within quick service, fast food, casual dining, or fine dining environments.
- Knowledge of POS systems; capable of managing cash handling accurately.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience supervising hospitality teams and managing kitchen operations.
- Ability to train staff effectively on food safety procedures, food handling techniques, and customer service excellence.
- Skilled in inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis to maximize operational efficiency.
- Exceptional communication skills for managerial tasks such as team training
- Familiarity with catering, banquet services, bar operations, or hotel experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
