We are seeking an Experienced Chiller & HVAC Service Technician to join our field services team. This role is designed for a technical expert who excels in high-stakes industrial environments and is comfortable managing the complexities of large-scale centrifugal and screw chiller systems. This position requires a professional dedicated to technical precision and exceptional client service.Primary Responsibilities
- System Maintenance & Repair: Execute comprehensive diagnostic, maintenance, and repair services on large-tonnage industrial chillers (centrifugal, screw, and scroll) and associated HVAC infrastructure.
- Field Operations: Travel to diverse industrial sites to provide on-site technical leadership. This role involves approximately 75% travel.
- Advanced Troubleshooting: Utilize sophisticated diagnostic tools to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control-related malfunctions in complex systems.
- Client Consultation: Act as a technical advisor to site facility managers, providing detailed reports and strategic recommendations for system optimization.
- Compliance & Safety: Maintain strict adherence to EPA regulations and rigorous industrial safety protocols (OSHA) at all times.
Qualifications
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in the maintenance and repair of large-scale industrial HVAC and chiller systems.
- Licensing: Must possess a valid EPA Universal Certification.
- Mobility: A valid driver’s license and a willingness to maintain a high-travel schedule are essential, along with the ability to obtain a passport and TSA Pre-Check.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and sequence of operations for industrial controls.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual Salary: $65,000 – $95,000 (commensurate with experience).
- Travel & Expenses: Comprehensive travel reimbursement, including per diem and company-provided vehicle/tooling.
