American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 1 year of experience to work in an urgent care setting, floating between two locations.

Urgent care setting performing routine X-Ray procedures

Position floats between two urgent care locations (Darlington and Florence)

Hours of operation are Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–8:00 PM and Saturday–Sunday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

12-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM

13-week contract

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist

Completion of a 24-month AMA-approved School of Radiology program

ARRT or NMTCB certification required

BLS certification required (AHA only)

SCRQSA certification required

License required if applicable

Responsibilities include patient verification using two identifiers, confirming correct exam orders, and proper patient positioning

Ensures all images are successfully transferred to PACS and are of high quality prior to radiologist interpretation

Selects appropriate technical factors based on body habitus, pathology, and body part

Upon completion of orientation, must be able to independently perform all radiological exams including X-Ray, DXA, Fluoro, OR exams, portables, and CT in accordance with facility protocols
