Assistant for Dog kennel facility Part time 20-25 hours per week or Position with (30-35 hours per week)
This is a private Licensed Kennel with no boarding. There is minimal interaction with clients, no clerical duties.
LOCATION: San Miguel /East Paso Area off 46 & Jardine Road. (INDEPENDENCE RANCH AREA)
Looking for energetic upbeat positive individual that has a strong connection with animals. Patients is a virtue and a good sense or intuition with animals as well as a good dose of common sense is needed. This is a fast pace work environment, and there is always more to do. You would need to be a self starter and motivated to find what needs to be done and do it. You would need to be able to take direction well and follow tasks as outlined. You will be working with other people and at times alone with the dogs. You will need to be an ON time person, have reliable transportation and be flexible.
Duties :
Responsible for care of dogs, and puppies including feeding, cleaning up after them, bathing, brushing, grooming. Letting them in and out, monitoring everything for their safety and well being at all times. Keep the kennel area clean, neat and maintained. Handling and doing basic socialization puppies and adults. Experience with dogs is preferred but willing to train the right person.
Hours:
Morning shift 7-12 or 7-2 Evening shift 12-8 , 2-8 or 4-8 or any variation that is needed for that day. Must be able to work any of the shifts including Weekends and Holidays. (SOME FLEXIBLILTY ON HOURS)
Pay rate: $17.00 per hour
