Maintain and coordinate the accurate collection and reporting of campus Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) data. Under close supervision, perform data entry of Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) data, and grades.
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to use software to develop spreadsheets and databases, and do word processing
Proficient in keyboarding, 10-key numerical data entry, and file maintenance
Ability to meet established deadlines
Experience:

- Coordinate the collection, integration, and formatting of all data required for PEIMS submission according to Texas Education Agency PEIMS Data Standards .
- Collect and enter PEIMS data into established database and verify accuracy according to prescribed procedures.
- Compile, maintain, file, and distribute all reports, records, and other documents as required following established procedures.
- Run edits, reports, and verification checks on data to ensure accuracy of information. Distribute edits and reports to appropriate staff for analysis, verification, and correction.
- Assist parents, students, and faculty with questions regarding student and family Skyward access
Verify data submitted to TEA and submit corrections in a timely manner.
Other
- Assist in counselor’s office as needed.
- Assist Administrators with master schedule
- Data mine various reports
- Verify new student transcripts for accuracy
- Maintain and verify all aspects of student grading and reporting, including class rankings and GPA's
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Comply with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rule, and local board policy.
- Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents as required.
