Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Handle floor care responsibilities including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning using appropriate equipment.
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests and staff.
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest safety.
- Assist with laundry duties including washing linens and towels to support overall sanitation efforts.
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and techniques enhances efficiency in this role.
- Experience in hospitality environments demonstrates an understanding of guest service standards.
- Knowledge of janitorial practices and floor care techniques is advantageous.
- Proven ability to manage multiple cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
