Responsibilities:
Set up and operate mechanical ventilators, therapeutic gas systems, and related respiratory equipment
Administer prescribed therapy and aerosol medications under physician orders
Monitor and document patients' responses, vital signs, and treatment outcomes
Assist patients with breathing exercises and rehabilitation techniques
Inspect and maintain respiratory therapy equipment for safety and efficiency
Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure the best care outcomes
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
Active State Respiratory Care Practitioner License required
One to three months of related experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply
Strong clinical, documentation, and teamwork skills
