We are currently seeking a Jewelry Concierge to join the fastest growing jewelry company in the country. This job will be located in New York City and the position will be based in a fast-paced environment with multiple requests coming in on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for accurately submitting/verifying custom orders with vendors within a specified time-frame
- Oversee the Special/Custom Order Process start to finish
- Calculate and quote prices
- Interact with both the vendors and the customers on a regular basis
- Checks the status of orders, maintains quoted time frames, and handles any potential issues
Requirements
- Must have 1+ yrs jewelry industry experience
- Must have 1+ yrs of experience with custom jobs
- Must have basic understanding of placing CAD requests with designers, vendors and knowledge of reading CAD to get cost for pieces
- Must be able to pass knowledge assessment during interview process
- Must be able to respond to customer inquiries outside of normal business hours, if necessary
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledgeable in Excel
- Knowledgeable in Photoshop
- Ability to work well with a team of diverse personalities
- Knowledge of jewelry manufacturing a plus
- Must be able to travel to shows a minimum of three times per year
- Must Live in New York Tri-State area
