As a full-time Notary Hotline Consultant, you will serve as an inbound customer service representative, assisting Notaries nationwide by providing guidance and support on a wide range of notarial questions. Our Hotline Consultants are trusted experts in Notary law across the country, delivering accurate and reliable information with professionalism and care. They are sociable individuals with a knack for providing clear, confident answers, skilled at quickly understanding customer needs, and thrive in a friendly, collaborative, and fast-paced environment. This position requires the following availability: M - F, 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM (Pacific Time) + 1 Saturday per month.
This position is open to current notaries located in the following states only: AL, AZ, CA, CT, FL, GA, KY, NC, NJ, NM, NV, SC, TX, VA. The Notary Hotline department hours are Monday - Friday, 5:00 am - 6:30 pm and Saturdays, 5:00 am - 5:00 pm, Pacific Time.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Answer a high volume of telephone inquiries regarding state laws and notarial professional practices
- Provide accurate verbal and written responses to customer inquiries via telephone and email
- Provide excellent customer service
- Comply and adhere to the NNA’s Company ethics and security policies
- Maintain positive relationships with both internal and external customers
- Maintain a working knowledge of Notary professional practices and state laws for all states
- Apply Notary professional practices and state laws to various notarial functions
- Contribute to team projects when assigned and perform other administrative duties as needed

WHAT’S REQUIRED
- Diploma or equivalent required
- Current Notary Public commission in the state in which you reside required, or ability to obtain
- 1 -2 years of administrative experience
- A reliable at-home internet connection and a dedicated workspace that is safe, quiet, and ergonomically appropriate for performing your job duties
- Basic knowledge of Notary professional practices and state laws
- Ability to resolve customer inquiries in a professional manner
- Flexibility for possible shift changes and Saturday shifts.
- Proficiency in MS Office Outlook, Excel and Word as well the ability to learn related software programs used for NNA business
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and the ability to navigate through various software systems simultaneously
