Summary: The part-time Customer Service Representative will interact with the company’s customers by addressing inquiries and processing customer orders. Work schedule will be Monday through Wednesday, 8:00 a.m. to 1 p.m.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interacts with customers via telephone, email, online chat, or in person to provide support and information on products and services.
- Collects and enters orders for new or additional products and services.
- Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative's knowledge, forwards it to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff.
- Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers problems and concerns.
- Processes and inputs walk-in customer orders and pickups.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience –High School Diploma required (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate); two or more years customer service or clerical experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills – Speaks fluent English and Spanish. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to both leadership and customers. Ability to interact clearly and effectively, in both written and oral communication, with supervisor, clients, staff, vendors, etc.
Mathematical Skills – Ability to utilize basic math such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
Computer Skills – To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in personal computer skills, including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. This role requires an average knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the individual must be able to remain in a stationary position for 90 percent of the time while operating their computer and answering phones. The individual needs to occasionally move about inside the office. They constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, fax machine, and computer printer. They must be able to exchange accurate information with customers and others in the office while interacting. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 15 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The individual must be capable of reviewing their work for errors and make adjustments as necessary.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position is an on-site position requiring the employee to be in-office for the entire work shift. While performing the duties of this job, the individual frequently works in a controlled climate. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
