American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week night shift travel contract in Southwest Florida, requiring at least 2 years of OR experience including pediatrics and prior travel nursing experience.

Hospital-based Operating Room serving both adult and pediatric patient populations
-
Surgical services include ENT, General Surgery, Vascular, Endovascular, Robotics, Dental, GYN, Orthopedics, Spine, and Neurosurgery

12-hour night shifts: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 6:30 PM – 7:30 AM

No on-call responsibilities required

EMR: Epic

Floating is required; travelers are first to float and may be assigned to sister campuses within 15–20 minutes of the primary location

Active FL RN license or compact RN license required

Current BLS certification required; CNOR preferred

Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required

Pediatric OR experience required
-
Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred

Degree from an accredited nursing program required, or a minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in lieu of accreditation documentation

Candidate's driver's license address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Travelers are welcomed into the unit and expected to function as core staff

Orientation begins on a Friday; remote orientation is completed prior to an in-person visit to the facility for badge and ID issuance, requiring the candidate to be in the area that day

No block scheduling requests will be accommodated

All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application and will not be approved after an offer is made
