We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide quality in-home care to clients on weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal care
- Help clients with mobility, positioning, lifting, and transfers
- Use proper body mechanics and approved equipment when assisting clients
- Provide medication reminders
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Perform light housekeeping related to client care
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Observe and report changes in the client’s condition
- Complete required visit notes and documentation
- Follow the client’s care plan and agency policies
- Maintain each client’s privacy, safety, and dignity
Requirements:
- Active CNA certification and current listing on the North Carolina Nurse Aide Registry
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Current TB screening
- Dependable and available to work weekends
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and safely assist clients with transfers
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods
- Previous home-care experience is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills and a respectful, caring attitude
