Duties Include:
- Program, set-up, and operate Mazak CNC lathe to produce precision parts according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements
- Select and install appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, and fixtures - Load raw materials into the machine and monitor the machining process
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to ensure proper dimensions and finish of the parts
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure optimal performance
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Follow quality control procedures to ensure that all parts meet specifications
Experience:
- Proficient in programming and operating a Mazak CNC lathe using Mazatrol is required
- Proficient in reading blueprints and engineering drawings
- Familiarity with hand tools, tooling, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments
- Experience programming with Mastercam is a plus
- Strong understanding of quality control principles and practices
- Excellent mathematical skills for performing basic calculations

Pay: $25.00 - $42.00 per hour
