Position Summary:
Your role is responsible for enhancing the guest experience at our pool area, all aimed at fostering connections and ensuring our team thrives together in a spirit of collaboration and shared purpose.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver service with care and attention, always prioritizing quality and the well-being of the Members.
- Assist guests with finding available seating, providing towels, and answering questions.
- Actively monitor pool activity to ensure guest safety and prevent accidents.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations consistently and courteously.
- Assist with emergency procedures as directed by the Pool Manager.
- Report any safety concerns or incidents to the Pool Manager immediately.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the poolside service area.
- Assist Pool Servers with order taking, food and beverage delivery, and bussing tables.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the poolside service area.
- Refill water and ice stations as needed.
- Assist with inventory of service ware and supplies.
- Assist with the maintenance of the pool area, including cleaning and sanitizing pool decks, restrooms, and locker rooms.
- Assist with the collection and disposal of trash and debris.
- Adhere to all club policies and procedures.
- Any other duties, as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills that foster a friendly and collaborative atmosphere.
- Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
- A commitment to providing exceptional service that makes a difference to our Membership.
Working Conditions:
- You will be working in variable temperature conditions (extreme heat or cold).
- You may encounter pool chemicals.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
- You may experience variable noise levels.
Physical Requirements:
- Standing, stooping, bending and twisting for extended periods.
