Doe Rae Me Early Learning Center is seeking a dependable, energetic, and caring Closing Teacher to join our team. This position is essential to ensuring our center remains safe, clean, and organized while providing high-quality care to children during the afternoon and evening hours.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in a safe, nurturing environment.
- Implement age-appropriate activities and maintain classroom routines.
- Serve dinner and snacks according to center procedures.
- Complete accurate attendance and classroom documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom throughout the shift.
- Sanitize toys, equipment, and learning areas.
- Assist with classroom transitions and end-of-day routines.
- Communicate professionally with parents during pick-up.
- Ensure the center is clean, secure, and ready for the next business day.
- Follow all Ohio licensing regulations and center policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Childcare experience preferred.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to pass all required background checks and meet Ohio childcare requirements.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and actively participate in classroom activities.
