Department Leadership & Strategy

Lead the Facilities department and ensure all company locations are well maintained and ready to support daily operations

Develop long-term facility strategies that support company growth and improve operational efficiency

Create and improve systems, processes, and standards for facility operations across all locations
-
Exercise sound judgement and make independent decisions regarding maintenance priorities, vendor selection, project execution, and day-to-day facility operations while keeping leadership appropriately informed

Oversee facility operations for all company locations across multiple states and regularly collaborate with Center Directors to identify needs
-
Partner with the Operations Director to develop long-term facility improvement plans and capital projects
Maintenance Operations

Oversee maintenance personnel and coordinate work assignments across all locations
-
Complete maintenance and repair work personally when practical and cost-effective
-
Respond promptly to urgent facility issues and ensure timely resolution
-
Track maintenance requests and completed work using the maintenance tracking system
-
Build and maintain positive relationships with landlords and property managers, coordinating repairs, maintenance responsibilities, and lease-related facility issues while ensuring lease obligations are upheld and repairs are completed by the appropriate party
Preventative Maintenance

Proactively identify maintenance concerns and opportunities for facility improvements before they develop into larger, more costly issues

Conduct regular facilities assessments to identify safety concerns, maintenance needs, and opportunities to improve the appearance and functionality of each location.

Coordinate preventive maintenance for buildings and recurring services, including HVAC, lighting, carpet cleaning, window cleaning, pest control, regular cleaning services, landscaping, and fire safety equipment.

Maintain accurate maintenance records and service schedules
Facilities Projects

Partner with the Growth team to support site selection, lease walkthroughs, build-outs, and operational readiness for new locations

Provide facility expertise during expansion planning, identifying long-term maintenance, operation, and cost considerations before new centers open.

Plan and oversee facility improvement projects, renovations, and new-center build outs
-
Coordinate contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
-
Minimize operational disruptions while maintaining quality and safety throughout each project
Safety & Compliance

Ensure all facilities remain safe, clean, and compliant with both company and licensing standards
-
Coordinate annual fire inspections and other required building inspections
-
Prepare facilities for state licensing inspections
-
Conduct routine facility safety walkthroughs and ensure corrective actions are completed
Budget & Asset Management

Manage maintenance and facility expenses with a practical, cost-conscious approach while maintaining quality and safety

Monitor maintenance and repair expenses
-
Track warranties, service records, and replacement schedules for major building systems and equipment
-
Maintain inventory of facility equipment, tools, and major assets

Experience in facilities management, property management, construction management, or a related field

Previous leadership or project management experience

Strong knowledge of building systems, preventive maintenance, and general repair work

Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, and service providers

Ability to independently perform general maintenance and repair tasks
-
Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc.) and the ability to use technology to manage projects, track work orders, maintain documentation, and communicate effectively

Excellent organization, planning, and prioritization skills

Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
-
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
-
High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Work Environment & Expectations

Flexible weekly schedule, with workload adjustments based on seasonal or urgent facility needs

Occasional availability outside of normal business hours (evenings or weekends) may be required to address urgent facility issues or time-sensitive maintenance needs
-
Regular travel between Cedar City, Hurricane, Downtown St. George, and Bloomington
