Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning to ensure a spotless environment
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures according to company standards and safety regulations
- Operate various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners efficiently and safely
- Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items
- Handle heavy lifting and manual handling of furniture or equipment with proper technique to prevent injury
- Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces by using appropriate cleaning detergents and supplies while adhering to safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide outstanding customer service during each visit
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial or custodial roles, with a focus on detailed housekeeping practices
- Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, and sanitation standards
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within scheduled timeframes without compromising quality
- Effective communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
- Physical stamina for outdoor work experience, heavy lifting, and manual handling tasks
