Cath Lab Tech Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Bel Air, Maryland. This is an excellent opportunity for a Cath Lab Tech with recent cardiac cath experience who is comfortable with both scrub and circulator responsibilities and taking scheduled call.

- Travel Stipend: Up to $1,116/week
- Schedule: 3x12s or 4x10s
- 3x12 Schedule: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- 4x10 Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 40 hours/week accepted
- Patient Population: Adults & geriatrics
- Daily Census: Approximately 10–15 cases
- Travel Experience: Not required
- First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Required Experience & Certifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent, strong Cath Lab experience
- ARRT-R and/or RCIS
- BLS
- ACLS
- Experience with cardiac catheterization procedures
- Ability to function as a scrub and circulator
- Ability to maintain a sterile field
- Strong cardiac rhythm recognition skills
Cath Lab Procedures
Experience with the following is required/preferred:
- Diagnostic cardiac catheterization
- Left heart catheterization
- Right heart catheterization
- Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
- PTCA
- Cardiac stent placement
- IABP placement/removal
- Rotablator atherectomy
- Cardiac implant closure devices
- Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
- Room setup and equipment preparation
- Sterile field maintenance
Schedule & Call
- 3x12 or 4x10 day shifts
- Weekend requirements through call schedule
- Holidays required as scheduled
- On-call is required
- Approximately 8 weeknight call shifts and 4 weekend 24-hour call shifts per 6-week schedule
- 36 or 40 hours/week accepted
- 36 hours of orientation
- Maximum 2 RTO requests
- Maximum 7 days RTO under facility policy
Important Compliance Information
- Active credentials must be available as required
- BLS/ACLS must meet facility requirements
- Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
- Compliance labs must be completed within 72 hours of signing
- Compliance documents due 5 days before start
- Travelers must be comfortable with call, weekends, holidays, and facility requirements
- Travelers are expected to float within scope if required
