Position: Line Cook
Location: Monona, WI
Employment Type: Part Time or Full-Time - but must include Saturdays and Sundays
Pay: Based on experience and includes tip share.

Job Summary:
We’re looking for an experienced, flexible, and mission-aligned Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will bring culinary skills, a calm and compassionate presence, and a heart for inclusive community. This role is perfect for someone who values both quality food and meaningful work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch, and baked goods with consistency and care
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen
- Work alongside team members of all abilities with patience and professionalism
- Follow recipes and presentation standards for all menu items
- Assist with prep, catering orders, and closing/opening kitchen duties
- Adapt to changing needs and contribute to a positive team culture
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of kitchen or line cook experience preferred
- ServSafe certification (nice to have)
- Strong time management and communication skills
- A flexible, calm, and collaborative mindset
- A genuine belief in JavaAbilities’ mission and inclusive work model
