Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct private and group training sessions for dogs of all breeds and ages.
- Create and implement personalized training plans tailored to each dog and their owner's needs.
- Help with basic obedience training, advanced commands, behavior modification, and specialized training (e.g., agility, therapy, service dog training).
- Educate dog owners on effective communication, behavior management, and positive reinforcement techniques.
- Maintain detailed records of training progress and sessions.
Requirements:
- Certified dog trainer (CPDT-KA, KPA-CTP, or equivalent certification preferred).
- Proven experience working with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
- Strong communication and people skills to work closely with dog owners.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A patient, compassionate, and positive approach to training.
- Must be comfortable with handling dogs in a variety of environments.
