We are seeking an experienced sales professional who enjoys relationship building with customers, and has a record of success in a friendly, personalized service environment. We are an independent, woman-owned optometry practice that has been part of the North Asheville landscape for over 10 years.
Although we are seeking individuals with sales experience, this position does not require experience in the eyecare or medical fields. We offer plenty of resources for you to learn about the industry and products offered by our office.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Fill prescriptions from patients for contact lenses and eyeglasses.
- Take accurate measurements for eyewear fitting.
- Assist patients in choosing eyeglass frames and lenses.
- Prepare work orders for lab and provide the information needed to make new lenses.
- Adjust eyeglasses for patients to ensure proper fit.
- Repair and replace eyeglass frames as needed.
- Provide education to patients about their eyewear.
- Handle various administrative and business tasks, such as keeping track of prescriptions and ordering/maintaining optical inventory.
- Perform all duties within HIPAA regulations.

Pay: $33,211.46 - $39,996.60 per year
