Kirkland family seeking a nurturing and experienced infant nanny starting at the beginning of October
32-40 hours a week
9am to 5pm
*1 infant, who will be 4. 5 months old at time of start date
*Ideal schedule: M, W, F plus either Tue or Thur(32 hrs/wk)
*Can extend to 5 days for the right candidate (up to 40 hrs/wk)
*Occasional flexibility appreciated to cover outlier shifts with notice
*$34-$37 an hour, depending on experience
*2 weeks PTO nanny's choice, 11 paid holidays, WA mandated sick time + extra time off when nanny family is out of town
*Guaranteed hours & paid on the books
*Not seeking a nanny share or a nanny who will be working for another family at the same time
Family values high engagement with their daughter- reading, singing, going on walks and engaging in age-appropriate activities are key! The family leans towards baby-led signals for naps and feeding, and would love to find a dedicated, highly experienced infant nanny for a long-term relationship.
Dad works from home on a different level of the house, and mom works outside the home in the medical field. They have 2 cats and a dog so being comfortable with animals is important. No household chores are expected except help with bottles and baby laundry and tidying up after play. Having great communication and a collaborative attitude is essential.
Nanny must have at least 3 years of paid childcare experience (infant care a must), be a non-smoker, the ability to pass a WA state and federal background check, a valid driver's license, caregiving references, be CPR/First aid certification (by time of start date) and current on vaccines including flu & Covid
