Job Summary
Steele Memorial Medical Center is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse with scrub abilities to join its surgical team. This is an excellent opportunity for an OR nurse who enjoys working in a collaborative perioperative environment while providing exceptional patient care from pre-op through recovery.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care from pre-op through PACU.
- Perform both Circulator and Scrub RN duties.
- Prepare patients for surgery and assist the anesthesia provider.
- Ensure OR readiness, equipment functionality, and sterile field maintenance.
- Monitor patients throughout the surgical procedure and advocate for patient safety.
- Manage surgical counts, specimens, medications, and documentation.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the interdisciplinary surgical team.
- Educate patients and families throughout the perioperative experience.
Requirements:
- Active Idaho RN License or Compact RN License
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room experience (multiple years preferred)
- Experience as both an OR Circulator and Scrub RN
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current AHA BLS certification
- ACLS required within one year of hire
- Ability to participate in scheduled on-call rotation for emergency surgeries
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred

Pay: $2,200.00 - $2,400.00 per week
