Job Summary
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Shirt Presser to join our dry cleaning team. No prior experience is required—we provide paid, on-the-job training. The ideal candidate is reliable, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in producing high-quality finished garments.
Responsibilities
- Operate shirt pressing machines to professionally finish laundered shirts.
- Inspect shirts for stains, damage, missing buttons, and other imperfections before pressing.
- Ensure garments meet our quality standards before they are completed.
- Handle garments with care to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow company procedures and safety guidelines.
- Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a shirt presser, garment presser, or in a dry cleaning/laundry environment is highly preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
- Ability to lift and move garment bundles as needed.
