Person Directed Supports is looking for a Quality Assurance Coordinator!
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creates/promotes a culture centered on building self-directed lives with the people we support.
- Demonstrates effective administration of assigned unites; complies with established administrative policies and duties within their division.
- Displays principles of good time management and applies these principles in daily work performance.
- Abides by established policies and procedures of the agency, County and State; offers direction and supervision for compliance for Direct Support Staff.
- Makes independent decisions regarding program operations within his/her authority.
- Evaluates and appropriately acts in emergency situations, assists as needed.
- Notifies supervisor in an accurate and timely manner of areas of concern.
Compliance:
- Educate direct support staff on the agencies compliance program.
- Reviews programs to ensure compliance with licensing regulations and agency policy.
Regulatory/Licensing Compliance
- Ensure all services are in compliance with all Regulatory Guidelines, Federal and State Laws; each day/every day.
- Monitor all Community/Family Living Homes for Compliance and Quality of Supports and Services.
- Monitor all Home Based, Vocational, OBRA Supports and Services for compliance CMS/wavier, Regulatory Guidelines, Federal and State laws; each day/every day.
- Monitor all personnel files for compliance with regulatory Guidelines, State and Federal guidelines.
- Be responsible for and coordinate aspects of the 6400, 6500 and 3800 licensing inspections.
Supports & Services Monitoring
- Monitor all agency homes and family living and program books
- Monitor day services for all individuals
- Set up and attend quarterly meetings with house managers.
- Attend quarterly meetings with Program Specialists.
- Review all fire drills
- Review all individual funds.
- Write weekly and/or monthly quality assurance reports as instructed by the Director of Quality Assurance
- Assists in the completion of needed items.
- Have professionalism and strong communication skills.
- Have strong writing and documentation skills.
- Promotes a positive working relationship with all employees.
- Job duties are not limited to the above list; other duties as assigned by Person Directed Supports, Inc.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services (or closely related field) from an accredited College or University.
Or
High School Diploma and two years experience working with people with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
