American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Acute Dialysis position requiring a minimum of 18 months of dialysis experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Hospital-based dialysis unit serving both ambulatory and ICU patients
-
Provides intermittent hemodialysis (IHD) in the dialysis unit and at the bedside for ICU patients unable to travel to the unit
-
Also performs peritoneal dialysis (PD) connections and disconnections
-
CRRT is managed by ICU nursing staff and is not part of this role
-
Fresenius machines are the primary equipment used for IHD; full machine orientation is provided
-
PIRRT and Tablo machines are not used in this unit
-
Day shift position, either 3x12 or 4x10 hours (7:00–19:30)

On-call rotation required

Every other weekend required
-
Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be active and in hand — no pending certifications accepted)

Minimum 18 months of permanent dialysis RN experience required

One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in dialysis from an assignment worked within the past 12 months required for consideration (co-worker references are not accepted)

Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

No open background or license cases — facility does not accept any license hits and reviews all background hits

Previous permanent or per diem employees of Cleveland Clinic hospitals must have a minimum 1-year break from their end date before returning

PBDS assessment is waived; ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation and require a passing score (maximum of 2 attempts allowed)

BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing a contract
-
Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
-
All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of interview
-
Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 months, after which a 6-month break is required before returning to any Cleveland Clinic location
