Jerry Maddox Farmers Insurance Agency in the Rio Grande Valley is hiring Insurance Sales Producers to join our growing agency!
We are looking for self-driven individuals that are interested in growth opportunities. This position holds an hourly pay plus commission and many bonus opportunities with defined long-term growth opportunities. As a producer, you will directly contribute to and support the sales goals of the agency.

Qualifications for the Insurance Sales Producer
- Sales and insurance sales experience are a plus but not required
- Must be coachable and willing to learn
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)

Responsibilities for the Insurance Sales Producer
- Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales
- Establish client relationships and follow up with clients, as needed.
- Understanding prospect's needs and identifying sales opportunities
- Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers
- Explaining and demonstrating the benefits of our services
- Staying informed about competing products and services
- Ability to achieve high sales targets

If you follow and implement the sales process, you can expect to make $60,000 in your first year with your salary, commission, and bonuses.
Do I need prior insurance experience to apply?
No, you don’t need to know anything about the Insurance industry. We provide all the training on insurance and sales that you will need to get started in the industry.
What training will I receive?
You will receive training by both the District Office Sales team and training from the Agency Owner on sales strategies and scripts.
