ATV-UTV Mechanic Welder/Fabricator
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the shop. This is a hands-on mechanic role responsible for the repair and maintenance of off-road equipment (ATVs, UTVs, etc).
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Diagnoses, rebuilds, and repairs equipment (ATVs, UTVs, etc.)
Performs inspections and preventative maintenance of equipment
Diagnoses mechanical problems and performs repairs
Responsible for ensuring that all vehicles/equipment are prepped and ready for scheduled activities according to proper company procedure
Track all vehicle/equipment maintenance and file all related paperwork appropriately
Renew and track all vehicle registrations
Maintain a log of any vehicle or equipment that is unable to be used due to needed repairs or maintenance
Ensures vehicles are maintained and/or repaired – working extra hours if necessary
Communicate with management about any conflicts between schedule and the number of vehicles needed
Follows written and verbal instructions, including manufacturers’ service specifications
Orders parts and maintain inventory of shop supplies
Has working knowledge of paint and bodywork
Follows safety practices and procedures
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma / GED
2+ years experience
Experience working on ATVs and UTVs
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Must have a good command of the English language, oral and written
WORK CONTEXT:
Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions, including sitting, standing, walking, and driving
Work may be performed in outdoor weather conditions where temperatures can exceed one hundred degrees

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
