Overview
Gonzalez Auto Parts is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to help lead daily store operations and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced automotive retail environment.
This role supports the Store Manager, helps develop team members, and assumes leadership responsibilities when the Store Manager is away.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise counter sales and customer service
- Train and support team members on procedures and product knowledge
- Assist with scheduling, inventory control, invoicing, and store operations
- Help drive sales and maintain store standards
- Ensure clean, safe, and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Automotive parts or automotive service experience
- Retail leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- ASE certification a plus
